Version: 1-Click Answers 1.0.2.84
Pros: I came across the website when I was searching for some information. It claims it has 1 million pages. And user can use it to look for explaination when surfing the Internet or using Word. It sounded good in the description but I was afraid that it was another spyware. So I checked it up with Download.com, there was no warning of being spyware. I downloaded it and scanned it with Yahoo Anti-spy, confirmed it was not a spyware. After using it for a while, I found that the tool is rather useful. It is a bit slow if you use Alt-click to look for words but it speeds up if you type the word(s) inside the 'Answerbar'. When the word(s) had been used in different ways, e.g. a person's name, a character in famous movie, name of a novel or name of a city, it will show you those alternatives. If it cannot find the specific term, it will try to offer some alternative spellings or common names. For some words, you can even click the link and listen to the pronunication. The quality is rather nice too. Although you still cannot find everything, I think it is quite a good tool for doing research, especially it is FREE.
Cons: It uses quite a bit of memory so may not run very well on slow machine. But it can be switched off and will not stay in the memory then.
