Publisher's description of WindowFX 2.12

From Stardock:

WindowFX is a new program that allows Win2K/XP users to add a host of special effects and enhancements to their windows. WindowFX features include: true shadows under windows, transition effects for minimizing, maximizing, closing, and opening windows. Transparency effects, the ability to have large icons on the desktop while having normal sized icons elsewhere, desktop icon special effects and label effects, maximize to a set resolution, and much more.

Version 2.12 adds effects to window moving, greater performance, and a ton of added goodies in the free version.

Version: WindowFX 2.12

"NO WAY."

Pros: None.

Cons: I love Stardock, don't get me wrong, but this program won't even let you see anything of what it's like! You get a 30 day trial never done by Stardock on any of their other programs, 1 yes o-n-e transition to see out of about 15-20 and you can't even preview the rest! I'm not about to buy this program to find out I hate the effects! And sometimes transitions don't work or makes the window look weird until it's done. I truly unrecommend this program to everyone.

"rubbish program"

Pros: allows the user to change and add windows animations

Cons: causes the computer to go very slow and often crash. do not reccomend. Plus very few effects available

"Love It"

Pros: Just love the FX effects, and what it can do to icons. I usually stay away from this type of memory hog program. Gotta have some toys under the hood.

Cons: You need a fast PC with some spare ram.

"Great Skin Themes For Desk Top"

Pros: Copper deck theme was what I was looking for and more...now I actually like looking at it besides the same ole xp standard.

Cons: Nothing not to like...just got to take out time to review all the stuff available.
