- "Clean your computer's clock"
This program, like many others, promises to clean your registry, make your computer run faster and, if you're lucky, do your dishes, too. At least with cleaning your registry, Advanced Registry Optimizer seems to do a pretty good job.
The scan process was easy to initiate and was done in about three minutes, although don't forget that the scan time depends on the computer system. A row of five tabs makes navigating the program options stress-free while the lack of lag on the system was much appreciated. The user interface has quite a bit of white space, which makes options easy to see--but it's done in such a way as to make you feel like there's not much to the app.
This is true, in a way. There's a scheduler and scanning, optimizing, and backup tools, and an exclusion list to prevent certain registry entries from accidentally being altered. For beginning and intermediate users, this should be enough. It won't do household chores, but Advanced Registry Optimizer will clean your computer's clock and keep it ticking.

Version: Advanced Registry Optimizer 5
Pros: I'm running "Windows Vista Home Premium" so I can't comment on this application in regards to how it is with other systems. It has a very nice, user friendly GUI, fast scans and good backups of your registry prior to cleaning.
Cons: My standard in registry cleaners is "Tuneup Utilities 2007". I've been using it since it was released and I know it can be trusted. I installed a fresh operating system om 8-13-07 and have installed, uninstalled software, cleaned my registry twice. "Tuneup Utilities 2007" has found and deleted 339 registry keys as of todays scan. My computer already flies. I ran a scan with this application and it found an additional 380 keys that it set to delete. When I looked at some of these keys, I found several in "MS Office", several in my saved "WinRar Archives" and some downloaded software applications. This is just to aggressive for me and with such a limited free trial, I can't recommend it. "Tuneup Utilities" is $10 more, offers everything you will ever need to tweak a "Vista" system and offers a full, 30 day free trial.

Version: Advanced Registry Optimizer 5
Pros: This app kicks butt in the paid version. One of the fastest, safest, and easiest, registry cleaners/optimizers on the market today. I owned a registered version when I had it on XP and I liked it so much I bought it for my Vista.
Cons: Trial version kind of sucks buttermilk. only removes 20 errors. I gave 5 stars for the paid version. The free version I am not ratting.

Version: Advanced Registry Optimizer 5
Cons: It is not as good as some free ones. I use Adavance Windows Cleaner. I'm using the free version. It is so good for a free software. It not just scans registry keys,it scans for spyware and junk files too. I don't recommend anyone using Advance Registry Optimizer. You can get better ones just for free.

Version: Advanced Registry Optimizer 5
Pros: I may have not downloaded and tested the product, but from the reviews and images (screenshots) I can already tell this product is a bunch of BS. The registry "fixer" is just plain crap just like PC Tools Registry Mechanic (which I have not seen a update in months).
Cons: I do not appreciate the dull and dingy GUI and it lags too. The users who rate it excellent are just being ripped of their money. Those users have no knowledge of technology these days. You do not have to pay to have a decent smooth running computer. Do a disk defragment, a disk clean up (preferably CCleaner), and your done. Practice safe hex and have a AV and firewall and your good. Those users are just no better than the iOlo System Mechanic.
