Publisher's description of Proxifier
From Initex Software:There are many network applications that do not support working through proxy servers and thus cannot be used behind a LAN or firewall. With Proxifier you can work with any Internet client (browsers, FTP, SSH, IRC, ICQ, Messengers, P2P clients, video/audio and games) through a network that is separated from the Internet by a firewall; no special configuration is required for the client software. Proxifier allows you to force all network connections in the system to work through a proxy server or a chain of proxy servers.

Version: Proxifier 2
Pros: If you can figure out how to set it up (not that hard), then it allows you to make nearly any program work through a university or corporate firewall.
It also allows you to specify which programs you would like it to proxify and which it should leave alone. This is great when using things like browsers which can usually make it through a proxy server on their own.
This program has changed my life
Cons: I have come across one or two programs that don't work, these all require that your internal and external addresses match. This is kind of impossible when using a proxy server.
