Extremely easy to use video/audio converter provides file conversion with split and merge options for most popular media formats. Convert your FLV recordings to Windwos Media / Zune or QuickTime / iPod formats, convert MPEG2 camera movies to smaller WMV or MP4 files, convert audio CD's to MP3 or extract audio tracks from your videos in MP3 format. Multiple files conversion. Does not make any changes to your computer settings.
Version 2 adds Splitt, Merge, and Reprocess options and fixes a bug that would crash the program on drives different than C drive.

Pros: Works with most media formats and converts them guickly to the desired format.

"Did not always work well (lost audio parts)"
Pros: The quality of video was OK, but ..
Cons: Parts of the audio were lost (something you may notice only when you already deleted the original).
Had problems with some codecs

Pros: The perfect all-purpose video converter. It converts .flv very well, also. The gui is self-explanatory and attractive. I'm satisfied with this converter.
Cons: It leaves the original file extension on converted files along with the new extension. for example, if you convert "funnyvideo.flv" to "funnyvideo.avi", it will appear as "funnyvideo.flv.avi" in the output folder, which might be confusing to some people. Other than that, I have no complaints about this free converter.

Version: WM Converter 2
Pros: The only reason I didn't give it 5, was due to the fact it could use just a couple\few more conversions and options and a slightly better interface. All in all, it's free, works great and have no problems with it. Quite fast on the conversions I may add. You can't lose using it, it's great for what it's supposed to do.
