ZoneAlarm Firewall (Windows 2000/XP)
NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!
Pros: STILL A DECENT FREE FIREWALL,WORKS ON VISTA AND XP
Cons: SECOND STRAIGHT UPDATED VERSION THAT IT WORKS LESS. USED THE BE THE BEST BUT NOW IT JUST IS AVERAGE PROBLEMS WITH AVAST,UPDATE TAKES WAY TO LONG I SWITCHED ALL 4 COMPUTERS TO COMODOS
ZoneAlarm Firewall (Windows 2000/XP)
Solid
Pros: Does everything it should - ideal for a network connected PC, having separate "trusted" and "Internet" zones - and nothing it shouldn't. Nice straightforward interface: very easy to create rules, add IP addresses to trusted zone, and generally manage traffic. Integrates well with Security Center. Never appears to consume excessive resources, or otherwise slow the machine.
ZoneAlarm Firewall (Windows 2000/XP)
A solid fiewall to be appraised by millions all over the globe.
Pros: Works perfect with XP. Solid firewall.
Cons: Alot of security patch and less firewall alerts. And, it lacks of program firewall, also known as Defense+ in Comodo.
In overall, Comodo holds the royale crown.
ZoneAlarm Firewall (Windows 2000/XP)
WOW
Pros: For Free and it just dont work, it works Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ZoneAlarm Firewall (Windows 2000/XP)
Still needs work
Pros: Installs nicely on Vista and seems to work ok. Usual interface and just as customisable as previous versions.
Cons: Blocked all ports when trying to use Azureus P2P and couldn't fix it. It's overzealous in it's blocking. After I uninstalled ZA everything was ok again. As usual there are no guidance notes on allowing or not allowing program access in the popup menu? Needs more work to get it to function properly with Vista. Am using the Vista built in firewall for now.
