Version: Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0c build 136
Pros: It's a program I would recommend for those who already have some experience with something like Windows Movie Maker. It's a good product for casual usage.
Cons: I expected more from this, I've also tried the regular Vegas Movie Studio 8 and this is not noticeably better, rip-off compared to Movie Studio 8.0.

Pros: The main part of the program works great
Cons: The capturing part freezes my computer and I have a brand new QUAD processor. If you do alot of video this program really sucks. Both of my computers hate the program.

"I gave up at the registration process"
Pros: Nothing (to be fair, I could not actually even get it running!)
Cons: The registration process, even for the trial version, is far to slow and complicated. I have used ULead VideoStudio, and it is far easier to install and run than this. Avoid this software like the plague!!

Pros: Pretty box. Easy to install.
Cons: After 10 years using Adobe Premiere products, I find Vegas unintuitive, and well difficult. Maybe my 58 year old brain is too old to learn anymore.
