    "recommended"

    by oxo_sg on July 25, 2005

Pros: many different games, like 8/9 ball pool and short snooker. online playing with many other players. tracks your best break so no faking. easy to use the mouse to aim, add side spin and shoot, unlike cue club.

Cons: it's 2D, but that doesn't really matter to me. not totally like the real game, but it has improved my real snooker game alot. i used to pot about 10 plus points with 1 cue (normally 30 points plus in 1 game), now i get 20 to 30 points regularly with 1 cue, getting about 50 to 60 points a game.

"I ENJOYED IT, BUT HAD SPYWARE, ADWARE, OR TRACKING"

    by mikewarren1 on May 10, 2007

Pros: In the free version, I enjoyed pool, and snooker would come up, after a few games of pool. I enjoyed the game for a while, fun game. The two dimensional screens make it easier to play and run on smaller or older computers. The guidelines show where the cueball, and other balls will travel. Helpful for learing to play the game.

Cons: I noticed that the statistics of wins and losses were completely false.

After an undefined number of pool games, the game would change to snooker. Although it was often a welcomed change, there was no control. The file menu choices give you only pool, and snooker is advertised as an available paid for upgrade.

After running anti-spyware, and anti-adware programs, Quick Snooker would not work anymore. First, said it was a direct X error, then after checking Direct X, then re-installing Quick Snooker, it still doesn't work. I reinstalled Quick Snooker, and ran the anti-spyware scan again, but did not find any spyware problem. Maybe after rebooting my system it could work, but I haven't done that yet.
