Version: Desktop Pool 1
Cons: It has no exit button, you have to go to your processes to end it. Totally crappy controls on the cue. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

Pros: it doesnt seem to have anything evil (spyware or otherwise) attached, but i might be wrong...
Cons: this is not a game. it is not fun. the 'physics' bear no relation to reality. there are only 8 different directions to choose from when aiming, so its not really aiming at all. these two problems, coupled with the lack of any spin options mean that the game becomes one of hit and hope. the high scores dont seem to work, theres no close button so i had to ctrlaltdelete it shut. the sounds are restricted to one thumping shot and a couple of squeaks. this could have been easily knocked up in an hour or so on one of those hideous game factory suites. i cant actually believe how bad it is - i remember much better pool games on the amiga. no playability, dire graphics, ridiculous controls, awful sounds. this really isnt worth your time, so DONT DOWNLOAD! i dunno if its spyware but its certainly adware and i personally think it should be taken off the site on the grounds of having no real merit as a game of any fun, use, or purpose to anyone.
