    "Superb!"

by Murxidon on May 4, 2005

Pros: This is one of the best games i've ever played! And it's online!

Tribes is a 1st or 3rd person (you can toggle by pressing "r" (default controls) shooter, that includes a LARGE array of weapons, excellent vehicles, from larger fighter jets to transport tanks, and an excellent online experience! The players are fun and friendly, and all swear words are replaced with "£%£&@#", The gameplay is outstanding, and will keep you going back for more and more, it's superb, from the high quality graphics to the different animations when you die, it is totally intense, you cannot beat the feel of blowing your friends head off when they're 2000 feet high in a fighter jet with a well-aimed sniper shot, (with 5 different zoom levels!) The controls are easy and comfortable, and can be changed easily, Servers are easy to find but you can download updates to connect to the newer ones, There is no lag, everything runs smoothly, and it's just an excellent online shooter, it works on my crap computer! So you don't need a super-new system to play it! This is also the free, and full version! DOWNLOAD TRIBES, NOW!

    Cons: None what-so-ever

    "An Amazing Fact: It's FREE!!!"

by SceptreX on August 15, 2006

Pros: I would pay for this (as they used to). It's fun, intense, and satisfying. An FPS that they decided to release as freeware, it's virtually uncontested (other than Wolfenstein).

Cons: Graphics and sound are somewhat disappointing. It also lacks anything single-player besides a tutorial.

    "Freakin' Addicting!"

by Suga' on June 3, 2006

Pros: There has been many, many FPS games out there, but I can guarantee none of them even compare to the nature and physics of this game. This game can not be mastered, that is why people STILL play this game. It's old, but new improvments are made on the game going 8 years strong now. Everything is to like about this game.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. People say the graphics are bad about this game, but go to google and look up "hudbot" for tribes .. this will fix the "horrid graphics" that people claim. That is all.

"Best multiplayer team based game. PERIOD!"

by CronecSoft on January 27, 2006

Pros: There are soo many things that have been done to this game. This download is only part of it, the original. I've found much more stuff for it at tribesarchive.com. Including the version 1.11 patch and download. The community has done so much with this. There are so many mods out there that introduce new weapons/ships/armors as well as visual and sound/chat mods that make this game simply addicting! You must download this if you like first person action games.

Cons: There are no cons. The game is admitingly old, and the graphics show it. No bells and wistles here. On the other hand, there is mods to give it 32bit textures and better models.
