    "Some-what decent."

by FanOfKOTOKO on April 30, 2008

Pros: The graphics of this game is standard, but the actual gameplay is quite good. As a tactical shooter, this game is great for it's download size.

Cons: For those CS fans (like myself), this game is not really recommended, you cannot freely exchange the weapons in-game (buying/throwing away weapons+picking up), as well as a rather slow weapon change compared to CS (changing the already held weapons via mouse wheel or hotkey).

No built-in voice chat system, which leaves those who doesn't use external voice-chat programs at a distinct disadvantage in manually typing.

If you choose a weapon set in the beginning inside the game room, you're stuck with that set for the entire time while you're in the game. This means that you're limited to that set's flexibility and fixed ammunition.

    "Good Tactical FPS"

    by nix714 on February 23, 2007

Pros: Teamwork is a must in order to win in the 'team battle' game mode (which is a good thing as opposed to WarRock's 'Rambo' style of play).

Reasonably nice graphics (comparable to WarRock) and well designed maps (however, only a few are available in the current open beta).

A nice array of weapons (from sniper rifles to pistols to shotguns - again, more will be available in the final release).

Much easier to level up than in WarRock; in addition, the game keeps track of important player statistics such as kill/death, survival, winning percentages - head shots and completed missions, as well as your forfeit rate (in order to indicate those who frequently disconnect during games).

So far 4 or 5 different forces are available for you to choose from.

Cons: Of course, there are the many glitches in the map; most include going inside walls, mountains, crates etc. The only other thing I would found troublesome was their SP (the ingame currency) system. You only get SP during your first promotion, and afterwards, only after you SP recharge bar has been filled. This normally takes a very long time, and only serves to give u a measley 10k SP. For comparisson, repairing a combatant weapon such as the AUG costs around 100SP/game (sniper rifles such as the PSG require around 125SP/game to repair). Guns are yours once you purchase them; no need to rebuy them ofter they expire as in WarRock. FYI, most automatics cost around 20K SP, pistols go for 15K SP, while the shotguns sell for a whopping 40k SP. However, special equipment are available to buy (such as masks, helmets, body armour etc.) that supposedly increase the ammount of SP/XP you earn per kill. These, however, have a 7 day limit and must be repurchased.

At the moment, I am a First Lieutenant and have gone through 2 SP recharges (I'm halfway through my third). I found that I'm running out of SP fast and can only afford to keep a single weapon due to the expenses of repairing weapons and repurchasing equipment.

I hope Gijji will fix these problems in the future. All in all, its a great game.

"AND I LAGGED ALL THE WAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Still it rock like @SS"

    by David557 on December 26, 2007

Pros: Hmm...what can i say about this tactical:mordern MMOFPS game.Well when i first downloaded this game and played it, i lagged alot and alot i lagged.I mean i really lagged alot and it was pretty darn frustrating because i couldn't kill anyone and everyone could kill me just as easily! But i resolved the problem, yet i still lagg to this very day,(LONG SIGH) AND I HATED THIS GAME.But now its ok but i can't play IN A ROOM with more than 11-12 players and the map must not be big.

CONCLUSION:If u can listen carefully to footsteps, you can be prepared and surpirse the enemy. The team must stay together if they want to survive a round or at least win.Flanking the enemy is very fun.FLANKING:This means like blocking the exit for the enmy on one side and blocking the enemy on the other side. Its like putting a mouse between your hands and slowly putting them together causing the rat to be trapped.Anyway comparing Wolfteam to Soldier Front:Wolfteam is not about tactics its about shooting people on sight and blood, the weapons are good very accurate, giving pwnage a new name and meaning.Soldier Front is more tactical and requires team work and the rifles and machine guns are inaccurate and uneffieciant. But the snipers are better.

Cons: Very hard to shoot with rifles.tOO MANY BUDS IN THE GAME!!

    "very niice game"

    by 0ption on June 4, 2007

Pros: Challenging and fun. This will test your ability to play FPS games and will tell if you are good or not. It requires skill and the best thing about it: its free and its just like cs maybe even better in my opinion. Also there are way more players in SF so i am so suggesting this game for all the FPS gamers or any gamers that want to get better at FPS games. Also, there is a large ammount of guns that'll keep you busy just testing them out :D very fun game.

Cons: glitchers (although there are not that many now but still a mediocore ammount). Hackers (aimbots, lag hacks, etc etc.) and the money (sp).

"Good game, but lags like crazy on my computer, then again, what doesnt."

by Phelps, Leon on May 13, 2007

Pros: Kinda tactical, gotta really listen for footsteps and junk like that. I recommend single battle, its really really, tactical.

Cons: It is very possible to glitch, and some people do that a lot, less now that a month ago.
