"Best first person shooter game ever made!"

by CableguyTK on January 23, 2006

Pros: Best graphics engine (at the time it was released...Nov1999).

    Awesome music.

    Great sound effects....HEADDDDD SHOTTTT!...MO-MO-MO-MO-NSTER KILL!...GODLIKE!

    Very fun.

Great online experience. A lot of players online.

Game still holds up today...7 years later.

Cons: Doesn't match up, graphically, to today's games (Half Life 2, Halo, etc.).

Something about this game made Epic release UT2003 and UT2004, both of which are horrible games.

"The best FPS game ever, bar none."

by blablupp on February 7, 2007

Pros: Something about the way the physics works in UT is immensely satisfying, it 'feels' good when you're navigating around each map.

Stand-out features: the double-strafe (dodge) move, the translocator (local teleporter - as a weapon, or to reach inaccessible areas), the 6-loader rocket launcher (with 5 firing modes), the shock-combo (the most beautifully deadly weapon you'll ever heft).

    Active community at utdemo.com

Cons: Some people have problems running the game in XP/Vista, variously due to NVidia driver settings and VSync.

    "Fantastic Gameplay"

by Reborn master on December 11, 2006

Pros: Unreal tournament ranks upto some of the best first person shooters such as halo,half-life and fear. The gameplay is fantastc because of the good A.I and the controls are alright.Wide variety of weapons to choose from and the levels are pretty big.

Cons: The graphics aren't very smooth and polished, if you want the same style of gameplay with good graphics the go with unreal tournament 2004.
