Version: Corel WinDVD 9 Plus
"Too bad it did not work for me"
Pros: Seems like a good media player if you can get it to work with windows 2000 with service pack 4.
Cons: would not load at all.

"came with blu ray player - did not install"
Pros: none to mention, yet.
Cons: tried to install 3 times. Errors about a key being updated. Link to site says key is not available. Wasted an hour.
Summary: Poor website and install process. My impression of corel is not good. read more

"Does'nt play everything it says it can!"
Pros: Plays fine for a while then starts to act up, freezing up and crashing. Was rushed out for review without fixing all the bugs! Take it back and fix it first! Then release it to see everyones view!
Cons: Crashes and freezes up! Always wants internet access! For god only knows! Blocked its access!

"Does nothing at all with Blu-Ray DVDs"
Pros: None whatsoever.
Cons: The Plus version of WinDVD does not play Blu-Ray DVDs as advertised. No status indicators, progress messages, or errors are ever displayed. It's completely useless.
Summary: The program loaded, accessed the Blu-Ray drive, then stopped. I tried opening the disc via the Source menu and the same thing happened - the drive light flickered a bit and I could hear it running. Then everything stopped. No message of any kind w... read more

Version: Corel WinDVD 9 Plus
"Took too long to download, didn't even work right."
Pros: The ads for it looked great.
Cons: I didn't like that it didn't want to work on my Windows XP system. I did everything right, but it chose to only want to be on my Vista based computer.
Summary: Most Corel products are well worth purchasing and using, this one is if you use Vista. I prefer my XP system for everyday use so this program gets a thumbs down from me. read more
