Version: AoA DVD Ripper SE 5.1.9
Pros: I tried a few of the dvd converter products that were availabe at the time. This program surpassed most of its competitors based upon ease, reliable, simple, high quality rips.
Cons: I missed the slider bar to be able to set start/end time (clip mode).
Summary: The user interface is fairly simple and the features for adjusting output quailty for file conversions are good. And with Vista, and did not experienced any difficulty with the program's compatibility. read more

Version: AoA DVD Ripper SE 5.1.9
"Very easy to use and full range of options."
Pros: I had honestly tried a few programs and gave up on the idea of being able to convert my recorded DVDs to avi format that my computer would understand, but this program finally did the job for me!
Cons: At this point I don't have any complaints.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to pay for.
Cons: Took about a day's time to get a response. Short, one word answers containing obvious suggestions to my problems.
Summary: Even after watching their how-to video, my movies were being ripped at a 1:5 ratio, so all the actors had tall skinny heads. The sound was off synch and on top of all that, it took 1.5+ hours to get JUST the biggest file containing the movie. Don't ... read more

"Would definitely recommend it!"
Pros: I have never used anything to this stuff before, but I did it in the first try without instructions. Now I can actually copy a DVD to my IPOD Classic and view for the long plane flights.
Cons: Too expencive :-)

Pros: Seems to have every facility to convert to my iPod. So far it seems to perform flawlessly on most movies.
Cons: I need some editing functions as well inside.
