Version: Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner 1.13.03
Pros: There are only two products that I trust to keep spyware off of my computer... this and spyware doctor. I also use a few others after those two, but rarely ever come up with any results.
Cons: Manual removal, but it's a minor inconvenience for a free program.

Pros: Although it make a very fast sweep, it finds things that Spybot, Adaware miss. The most common items found were Unknown.startup.xxx. These are cutting-edge problems.
Cons: Although it does a wonderful job of identifying problems, the follow up and removal is missing. It does refer the user to a site with Manual removal procedures that work "most" of the time.

Version: Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner 1.13.03
Pros: I use this program in conjunction with Spyware Blaster from Javacool Software and I have not had one problem with spyware (at least nothing that occasional scans by other spyware blockers could find). It's also VERY fast -- almost makes me wonder if it's doing anything, but my experience with it says it is.
Cons: No auto-update, so you have to do this manually. But, it's very easy.
Also, I don't think this actively blocks spyware from installing on your computer - just removes it once it is there; Spyware Blaster performs that function.

"Takes the mystery out of adware and spyware"
Pros: It detects adware and spyware that other programs like adaware don't catch. It's free. Although it doesn't remove the programs for you, it tells you exactly how to do it yourself. It may take a while to remove some things when you first get started, but I'm sure it'll go faster with practice. Removing it yourself really gives you a better understanding of what's going on, and you can actually see that it's being removed. The directions are clear and straightforward. And there's just something emotionally satisfying about hitting those delete and uninstall buttons yourself. (Take that, you malware villains!)
Cons: Some people think the fact that it doesn't remove the programs for you is a con, but I kinda like doing it myself. Some programs are harder to get rid of than others, but there is a link giving directions about rebooting in safe mode that is very helpful. For someone just learning like me, it can be time consuming in the beginning but well worth it, I think.

Pros: Other spyware products take ages to do a scan so you end up not bothering for weeks. Bazooka is so amazingly fast that you can easily run it every time you switch the PC on . Magic!
Cons: Doesn't remove anything but then it doesn't claim to.
