Pros: Its free and fast. You are nearly guaranteed to find what you are looking for. Works best for music, as the games and other .exe files can be virus ridden.
Cons: Its free. Thats good, but the legality of the software is controversial. The program is also a complete memory hog.

Pros: Fast and free, Ad-Aware SE Personal, provides excellent spyware and adware protection for your computer. Regularly updates to provide you with constant up-to-date protection. An added bonus is that it uses very little memory, allowing you to use other programs while it scans.
Cons: As with any Spyware and Adware remover, something always might slip by un-noticed. But this should definately be one in your arsenal of spyware removers!
