Best program

Pros: Its the best antivirus software so far.

It uses a maximum of 30Mb of ram.It runs in the background scanning your files and you dont notice it running.

The GUI design is pretty good.Everything is neatly layed out.

The software updates every hour and alerts you when there's a new update that fades away after a few seconds.

When it detects a virus it notifies you with a splash screen and are neatly quarantined for you to deal with .

It is a very stable program that is much better than other software.It detects very well and alerted me of a few website that tried to implant tracking software.

Scanning your harddrive is extremely fast and doesn't require much system resource

Great piece of Software

Pros: I havent used trillian for around 8 years now and I have been very impress that it looks richer and neater with alot more features than 8 years ago.

The User Interface is pretty and clear.Features are neatly categorized so with a bit of time the program is easy to learn

Cons: Beginners may find this software difficult to use.It took me a while to find out how to change my display name .

Some people may have connection problems.I'm not behind any proxy nor do i have any firewall install and at first it had problems connecting.

Some people may find this program very confusing to use .I guess the people who do not like this software are the ones that use MSN day by day and are not computer literate

A good program but...

Pros: This software is one of the antivirus that is really good.It uses little system resource and the interface is neat and clearly layout.Anyone can figure out how to use the program as the program also have explanations on what each options are for.

As I have tried Norton,Mcafee,Avg, I find kaspersky one of the best to use and scanning didn't consume alot of system resource.Didn't slow my computer down.Updates was easy.

Cons: Although this program was extremely good it kept constantly hangup my machine.Windows Xp would crash during bootup and as I recall before my format I uninstalled Avg to try kaspersky.Just after installing kaspersky the computer was so unstable and the computer was so slow i couldn't even use windows properly.I have no idea why maybe the proactive defence,file defence etc that is causing the problem .I couldn't click the start bar after restarting the computer and the computer froze as soon as it went to windows.

After formatting the computer.Kaspersky ran fine however it would crash windows quite frequently.The computer went extremely slow after 2 days of use.It was very unstable and caused alot of problems on my machine.

I had to uninstall the program and installed NOD32.It was better than kaspersky used less resource than kaspersky and ran like it didnt exist on my system.

I rate this software 3/5 and if I could choose half a mark I would probably choose 2.5/5.What good is a software when it causes more problems before you catch any virus?

Maybe its just my machine but I have a pentium 4 3GHZ machine.I am sure the problem might not occur on other people's pc but you have be warned.

I nearly had problems going back to windows xp
