From 4D:4th Dimension (4D) is a product line that can be used to create a fully integrated, Web-enabled, cross-platform database development solution, or as individual components, depending on the needs of your business. The complete product line includes tools for development, deployment, productivity, connectivity, and Internet servers. 4D enables application integration through support for Web services standards such as XML. It offers enhanced reporting features, including the ability to create cross-tab reports, list reports, and Web-ready reports. In addition, 4D provides productivity tools such as the Method Editor, an integrated compiler, and 80 new commands.
