Ace Utilities presents a suite of familiar PC-managing tools with a very small system-resource footprint.
Smaller than 2.25MB, the tools are all integrated into a clean, familiar, easy-to-use interface with options at the top and down the left gutter. Click on one option and it opens a new window; finish using it and it closes down to the main tool menu.
The Registry Cleaner lets you decide which invalid keys to delete and whether to exclude removable media and CDs from examination. To free up disk space, Disk Analysis displays which files and folders take up the most room. The Cleaning tools find empty folders and files, temporary and unnecessary files, broken shortcuts, and duplicate files, and then remove them--permanently if need be. Not only can the program handle browser tracks, but plug-ins add support for popular apps such as Acrobat, Kazaa, and ICQ.
These robust and customizable features--combined with the access Ace Utilities provides to a few hidden Windows settings, and the option of using it in the Beginner or Expert mode--make the download suitable for every level of user.

Version: Ace Utilities 2.42
Pros: It scans and removes junk faster than all the other utilities on the market.It also has a good startup manager and uninstaller and other useful features. I recommend Ace Utilities and give it 5 Stars and TWO thumbs UP!

"if you read before you use, it's fantastic!"
Pros: I donwloaded a cracked version of this via BearShare that could be used but not updated. I tested it for about 6 months against jv16 PowerTools, Registry Mechanic, and RegSeeker, not to mention the WinDoctor portion of Norton Utilities. Ace Utilities does so much more than the others, and they say you get lifetimes updates for free (unlike Symantec products!). Good backups that can be restored, if you need them. But as usual, with any registry cleaner / tweaker, READ BEFORE USING! I read some of the negative comments of others, and all I can say is... If you can't read English, get the program in your native language! If English is your native language, and you can't read it (OR: if are too lazy to read it!), hmmm... Anyway, after about 6 months, I felt like I really wanted to give this guy my $30 for this great tool. Honestly!

Pros: Good but meant for advanced users. It's not safe,auto-operative.
The best,coolest and safest tune up software is tune-up 2004 and is highly recommended.
Cons: Unsafe and lots of time has to be spent on what to do or not to do. Has many features which are not exactly safe. However try ,if you are an experienced registry editor and a TUNE UP user.

Pros: ITS VERY GOOD AND SAFE BUT KEEP AT DEFAULT SETTINGS WHEN I UNINSTALL SOFTWARE I RUN JUNK FILE AND REGISTRY CLEANER IT TAKES OUT ALL TRACES ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY OF 29 BUCKS I CAN UNINSTALL AND INSTALL SOFTWARE ALL DAY LONG WITH NO HANGUPS
Cons: BE VERY CAREFULL OF THE REMOVING DUPLICATE FILES PART OF PROGRAM
