Publisher's description of Cool Timer
Simple, no-nonsense, handy timer utility with a cool, customizable interface. Can be used like an oven timer, alarm clock, or stopwatch. Plays wav, mp3, midi files, or any of several built-in sounds as an alarm. Can optionally display a custom, scrolling, LED-type text message when the alarm sounds to remind you why you set the timer initially. Use as an alarm clock to wake you up or remind you when it is a certain time of day.
Version 3.6 is a bug fixing release.

"Timer is simple to use but auto-restart is buggy."
Pros: + Simple to use.
+ Allows customization - sounds, colors, can have 2 sizes of the timer window.Cons: - I wanted the timer to autorestart the countdown once it reaches 0:00 but that does not happen even though I selected Options > Mode = Countdown, Autorestart.
- At the end of countdown the Start/Stop toggle button says "Stop" instead of "Start".Summary: Ok, if you just need a timer but not so great for autostarting countdowns.

Cons: My download included a trojen. I emailed with no response.

"Free, Easy To Use, Works Perfectly"
Pros: Small footprint, minimal system resource usage, works great!
Cons: Not really a "con" but the default color scheme could use some work however "most" of these settings can be customized through preferences.
Summary: If you're looking for a countdown timer with an alarm feature, look no further! This highly customizable little app works great on XP and Vista (including 64 bit) and does it's job every time. Great!

"Extremely useful timer, I use it daily, all options."
Pros: Easy to set and to read. All options are useful. Works when minimised into the tray so doesn't take up space or block anything. Can change colours to suit your pc or mood! Have told many people about this product.
