Coollector was designed to be at the same time powerful and easy to use. Even the non-geeky users will immediately harness the power of the program. Coollector is both an encyclopedia of movies and a database of existing videos. You track not only the videos you own, but also all the movies you've seen, good or bad. Contrary to other movie collection managers, you don't start with some dull empty database. The whole encyclopedia is included with the program. You can rate the movies and persons. You easily maintain a wish list. You keep track of the videos you own, as well as those you've loaned. There's price information, and tools to help you find the best bargains. You can search the database in all possible ways. The encyclopedia gets personalized with your personal collection and your ratings. In the end, it reflects your whole cinematographic culture and taste.
Version 2.25 is a bug fixing release.

Version: Coollector 2.25
"Manages movies only, lacks a few needed features"
Pros: Extensive library, easy to use, free, can request movies be added to library so long as it meets the criteria and you can find the imdb#, can identify blu-ray as well as HD dvd's, can print your collection of movies.
Cons: Can't add movies to your collection unless it's in their database. When adding movies to your collection you have to switch to another section under "filtered search" and then back to "owned" in order for your new additions to show up.
Summary: Using the program is easy, but it limits you to cataloging movies only, so if you have other dvd's like documentaries, sports action, and even biographies you'll have to either accept the fact that this program won't keep track of those or find anot... read more >>
