Folder Lock is fast file-security software that can password-protect, lock, hide, and encrypt any number of files, folders, drives, pictures, and documents in seconds. Locked files are undeletable, unrenamable, unmovable, hidden, and inaccessible. You can lock, scramble, or encrypt depending on speed and security. Folder Lock is fully portable, so you can protect your files on USB flash drives, disks, CD-RWs, notebooks, and hard disks, and it doesn't require installation on another PC. Folder Lock protects files in Windows, DOS, and Safe modes, even when you change your OS or boot from a disk. Folder Lock doesn't let you delete its own program folder, and it can't be uninstalled without the correct password. The program blocks coworkers, kids, peepers, hackers, viruses, spyware, networks, and all online and offline threats. • "Lock down your secret documents"

Snoopers can't find or access the files you hide using Folder Lock, even in DOS or under other operating systems. This application also erases your Recent Documents history, so intruders don't know what to search for. The attractive lock-like interface presents the program functions simply. You can click on the Browse link to locate and lock folders anywhere on your computer, or you can simply secure them via a right-click. You also have the option to shred files for permanent removal, monitor hackers who try to break in to your secured files, and enable stealth mode so would-be wrongdoers can't even see the folders you have locked. In our tests, the program demonstrated good speed, even when securing large folders. If you share a PC and need to keep certain files to yourself, you should definitely have a look at this application.

  "Great Software works Well and has a nice interface!!"

  Pros: I find Folder Lock to work very well. I Love the interface as well as all the added features. I can feel good about letting others use my computer without them monkeying around with my financial, work and personal files. It can be set up to be very hard to detect that the program or files exist at all.

  Also I had one small problem with the software and got a quick reply, even over a holiday weekend, which I never expected.

  I can absolutely recommend this software if you're looking to protect your files.

  "I love Folder Lock!!!"

  Pros: I use Folder Lock to keep my pictures in one secured place, "my locker". All I need to do is enter my password and my locker shows all my personal pictures. This is excellent program with lots and lots of options and settings.

  "Windows XP and Perfect Disk users beware, Folder Lock completely useless"

  Cons: Faulty device driver Q293078 msg kept appearing in XP. After new windows driver did not fix the problem, I finally determined through other program, (Perfect Disk) (defrag Utility) that Folder Lock has a faulty driver. It kept rebooting my machine whenever I tried to defrag. No problem right?, Folder Lock will make it right. Well apparently not, Tech support is non-existant. After three emails which were not answered or even acknowledged and no phone support, I will try to recover my money by challenging the charge to my credit card. Folder Lock is completely worthless!

  "Works fantastic, I have been looking for a program like this for a long time."

  Pros: Quick, efficient, plenty of options to delete tracks that you would otherwise leave. Helps secure important files quickly and effortlessly.

  Cons: Large files do take a little longer if you use the highest security level, but worth it.
