Version: Norton 360
Pros: Norton 360 combines security and tune up features for your computer.Interface makes it simple and easy to use.It can also corrects any problems.Excellent antivirus and antispyware, detects and removes many threats.Firewall is strong but silent, sometimes too silent.Realtime protection stops virus and spyware before they enter you computer. It blocks any suspicious sites which makes it safe to bank on line.Tune up works fine and it really makes your computer faster.2 gb backup is very good and you can choose where to back up it.Now the best thing about Norton 360 is that it uses less memory than previous versions of Norton products.
Cons: Installation is big.Doesn't support Firefox and Opera.

Version: Norton 360
"Works great with "Vista" but,"
Pros: It's still a "Norton" security application. It has a nice GUI and it's easy to use, almost to easy. This application, unlike other "Norton" software will uninstall easily. It is a great set it and forget it security suite. Too much so. It sells for the same price as a three user license of "Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 7" so why would I choose to invest in this package? Personally, I wouldn't! But, if you are a user with safe web surfing habits, are using a hardware firewall ( an encrypted router ), you might be safe with this suite. Lord knows, it's easy to get along with! But, I wouldn't even with a router. It certainly is one of the the best set it and forget it security applications available as is the "Norton Internet Security Suite". I'll be darned if I'd trust it though.
Cons: In "Norton 360" you get extras. You get some tuning modules, you get 2GB of on line storage for backup. Big deal! 2Gb is nothing to me. You get a "to quite firewall". You get a scanner which, in comparison, has a small signature file. You get a suite that misses infections and has a difficult time cleaning some of the worst there are. I need to be a part of my security software. I want to see my firewall working. I want to be told, via a pop up when I am about to mess up. I want great detection and removal of all infection types. At the same, 3 user license price, get "Kaspersky". There is no comparison when it comes to real protection. And NO, I don't work for any software company. I'm simply stating my opinion.

Version: Norton 360
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: In 2001 I had purchased a new computer and norton antivirus came with it. Norton was updated regularly and scans were done regularly Norton did not find a single virus. But I had viruses on my computer and the viruses wipped out my operating system. I heard good reviews about Norton 360 so I gave it a try lets just say I wished I hadnt purchased Norton 360.
1. Norton 360 and past versions of Norton Antiviruses are major resource hogs.
2. I kept getting messages to back up junk all the time ( waste of time ).
3. When my licence expired Symantec automatically took the funds out of my
credit card. The credit card I had at the time of purchase has expired so they
took it upon themselfs to find a active credit card I have and took the funds out
of that. I was mad I didnt want to renew my licence but for Symantec not to
contact me about if I wanted to renew my license and get my credit card
information and take the funds out was a bit extreme. I contacted my credit -
card company they said they would refund my money and go after Symantec
for a full refund. From now on I'm going to Staples and purchase a Antivirus.
4. I had a lot of false positives with Norton during scans.
5. Not to offened anybody that really likes Norton or Norton 360 or Symantec
but I couldnt find anything I liked about Norton 360 so I left that field blank.
I just hope for the people that use Norton / Symantec products have good
luck with it and a virus or viruses dont wipe out your operating system while
using Norton / Symantec.

Version: Norton 360
Pros: This version of Norton's does top its predecessors in the way that its start-up time is less and its easyior to update. I also found that it has quite a slick interface. Thats it really not so good yeah?
Cons: right the interesting bit:
This is not good in the way that it never found any viruses or spyware when i installed some on purpose! i installed ZLOB. downloader and Spyware dr caught it and so did Zonealarm but Norton 360 failed! Failure! Also i found that alough the interface is smooth it is very confusion 2 navigate maby it would have caught the spyware had i configured the firewall differently but at the end of the day i shouldn't f****ng have to should a symantec? Not impressed i have to say as it took 4hours to scan with no resulys also. Stick with Zonealarm is my advise.
