Publisher's description of Nsauditor Network Security Auditor 1.1.7

Nsauditor allows to audit and monitor network computers for possible vulnerabilities, to see all open ports on your system and owner program names, including the process loaded modules, kernel objects, memory details, remote address and state of connections, DNS name, country where from, service associated with connection, possible Trojans associated with port and service description. It can also audit password and security policies as well as make a variety of attack probes, such as stealth port scans, HTTP/CGI server auditing, registry auditing. In addition, over 35 network tools for scanning, sniffing, enumerating and gaining access to machines, dns and whois lookups, Finger, e-mail validate, Traffic emulator, HTTP traffic generator and intrusion detection system based on security events log analyzer are included. Nsauditor does OS detection and automatically creates OS fingerprints which are not included in database.

Version 1.1.7 adds adware and spyware remote scanner.

  Version: Nsauditor Network Security Auditor 1.1.7

  "This Program failed on all tested spyware/adware installs"

  Pros: Works well with some features.

  Cons: Failed all adware/spyware tests but one. Could not remove some of the problemed files on our test pc.

  Should not be listed on CNET's download.com under spyware or adware. It is not really an antispyware tool.

  Version: Nsauditor Network Security Auditor 1.1.7

  "I am impressed with Nsauditor capabilities..."

  Pros: I'm very impressed with Nsauditor,it is a great utility that should be considered part of any serious Network user. Not all programs are nice so having a program like this could come in handy.

  Cons: Quite often I have to monitor the connections and the processes while a TCP or UDP session is on. I can't filter the list that is displayed in the monitoring module.

  "I have tried it, Nsauditor is really good!"

  Pros: I have tried it.Nsauditor is really good and easy to use, but some network skills are necessary. Adware remote scanner feature is a very useful tool, I have scanned the whole network in a few minutes.
