PowerArchiver natively supports ZIP, 7-Zip, CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, BH, RAR, ARJ, ARC, ACE, ZOO, GZ, BZIP2, XXE, MIME, UUE, and YENC file formats plus ISO, BIN and NRG disc images, with compression profiles that store frequently used settings.
PowerArchiver creates and works with unlimited-size ZIP archives and features enhanced 7-Zip support to offer the highest compression ratios. Encrypt your archives using five methods, including 256-bit AES, and store your frequently used passwords. Back up your work with PA Backup Express and FTP support, and create powerful self-extracting (SFX) archives.
Version 9.62 includes a new skinning engine and faster 7-Zip compression.

Pros: I've tried all, including WinZip, WinRar, WinAce and the very good free tools such as 7-zip. But after many experiments, I'm keeping Power Archive as my favourite compression tool.
Its easy to use, handles almost all type of compressed files.
Cons: None.

"Compresses well, kinda hard to figure things out at first"
Pros: The compression level and compatibility of this product is great, and I'd recommend this to others.
Cons: The controls take a little time to figure out what they are for

Pros: This software handled every type of file that I came across. It has a very friendly interface and doesn't hog system resources. The price is incredible! You can extract and compile various types of files. You can add compression and very strong encryption on the archieves you create. Compared to competition such as WinZip, this is absolutely, without a doubt, the winner. Instead of going around looking for more software to compare with this one, just buy this. Afterall, you are reading this review to help you make up your mind...right?
Cons: None...if you need it, buy it.
