Publisher's description of RecordNow MAX 3.01
From Roxio:RecordNow Max CD Recording Software writes to both CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW drives. Designed for reliability and ease of use, RecordNow MAX will write to traditional CD-R and CD-RW discs in all the popular formats including CD-to-CD copy, CD Audio, and unlimited MP3 encoding (ripping). Other features include digital audio extraction, disable auto-insert/run notification, pre-gap setting control, CD-ROM (single and multi-session), Video CD, and ISO 9660 on-the-fly. ISO Mode 1 and Mode 2 XA, Mixed Mode, CD Extra, Bootable CD, Disc-at-Once (DAO), Track-at-Once (TAO), and Session-at-Once recording modes are also supported.
RecordNow Max will also burn DVD-R/RW and DVD+RW discs in DVD-ROM (triple tree ISO/UDF/Joliet), DVD copy, and DVD Video formats. RecordNow Max offers very unique features such as Overburning (hardware must support this function), support for all the popular anti-buffer underrun technologies including BURN-Proof, Power-Burn, Just Link, and others. RecordNow Max has the ability to record to up to 64 drives simultaneously and comes with a toolkit for adjusting drive speed and disc verification during and after recording. All popular CD and DVD burners are supported.
Also included with RecordNow Max is DLA (Drive Letter Access) software that will format CD-RW or DVD+RW discs like big floppy disks and allow files and folders to be directly recorded from the drive letter icon. DLA is an OPT OUT at time of installation.
