Publisher's description of Skype 3.2.0.152
From Skype:Skype is software that enables you to make free calls anywhere in the world. Skype uses innovative P2P (peer-to-peer) technology to connect you with other users. It offers several features, including SkypeOut calling from Skype to regular and mobile phones worldwide, conference calling, and secure file transferring. Skype calls have better sound quality than your regular phone and are highly secure, with end-to-end encryption.
Version 3 is easier to use, has more powerful and personal interface, and connects with the world on Skype Public Chats. Version 3.2.0.152 changes the call-forwarding setup banner, updates the Extras Manager, and fixes an install error.

- "Slash your long-distance bills"
Skype is well regarded for offering stable, free VOIP to other Skype users and affordable calling from a PC to a phone, be it a landline or a cell phone. The most recent upgrade makes getting in touch with friends and family--and even complete strangers--much, much easier.
Functionality still varies depending on your Internet connection and what else you're doing with it while using Skype, but they are making some efforts to improve that. When you finish a Skype call, a Web page opens and asks you about the conversation's sound quality. The clean layout combines familiar chatware functions with a dialing interface, so that calling a phone is as simple as entering the desired number and hitting the dial button.
Improvements include conference calling with as many as nine people, video calling, and a browser plug-in that turns phone numbers on Web pages into links that automatically dial via Skype when clicked. There are also Skypecasts, throwbacks to the party-line multiperson telephone conversations from the mid-20th century.
Overall, we think Skype is a strong contender in the Internet Telephony category, and anyone who's interested in talking for free should give it a try. For international callers who have computers, this program is a no-brainer solution for long-distance bills.

Version: Skype 3.2.0.152
"The whole world should be on Skype!"
Pros: Really easy to set up, and as soon as you're finnished, you can make a call to anybody else in the world who's on Skype too, and talk to them for long as you want at absolutely no cost. Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? well, it's not at the moment, but i wonder how long it'll be before the phone companies intervene
Cons: None

"Can't get rid of extracted Outlook addresses in Skype"
Pros: Overall Skype is better and easier to use than MSN messenger. Very stable when used with fast connections.
Cons: I like most everything about Skype minus the annoying extracted Outlook addresses inside Skype that I neither need nor want to be in the Skype directory. Skype insists to keep Outlook addresses in it. Seems you can't get rid of them. Audio quality with third world countries (from within free world) is NOT reliable. Line drops frequently. But then, poor folks there still use modems... but Skype claims that it performs even under modem environment which is not accurate. One can easily test and verify this shortcoming. Quite bloated even w/o a spell checker.

"I am sure it is a wonderful program."
Cons: I deleted it because I was unable to fully understand how to use it.

Version: Skype 3.2.0.152
Pros: Easy to use - much cheaper to call ordinary phones all over the world (calling computer to computer is free) - good sound quality and stable (which it did not use to be) - easy to make video calls - improving constantly by adding small features which I never had thought about....
Cons: Not really big things, but the information when some Skypers last were on line might be wrong. The directory for Skype users occasionally might miss out some
