From Smith Micro:StuffIt Expander 6.0 is a free file-decompression utility that can open virtually any compressed or encoded file. Use this program to access StuffIt (SIT), Zip (ZIP), gzip (GZ), bzip (BZ), lla (LLA), ARC (ARC), Arj (ARJ), uuencode (UUE), Binhex (HQX), Macbinary (BIN), and MIME/Base64 archives.
Cross-platform features include a text-conversion setting that can format a text document for use on PC, Unix-, Linux-, or Macintosh-based systems. Expander allows you to automatically associate Macintosh files to the appropriate Windows application. StuffIt Expander supports Unicode for preservation of international file names that include 2-byte and other non-Roman characters. Access the contents of an archive or encoded with a double-click, no interface, or nag screen.
This version adds support for two additional compression formats and features iSupport to connect you to Aladdin Systems for personal support help.
