Version: Trillian 3.1.11
"Very good but lacks holistic user experience"
Pros: All of the chats you'll ever need under one roof, expandable (via plug-ins), skinnable
Cons: User experience not that thrilling, lacks many of the cool, advanced features of the actual software distributed by the various chat services.
Summary: This is a great program. But it would be *so* much better if it had a nicer user interface and was able to take advantage of all of the features of the services it represents. Still, though, the absolute best for multiplatform IMing. read more

This is a critical need in an IRC/CHAT/IM client since most people would have multiple windows open at once and it's often easier then to use ALT-... read more
