From DeskShare:Video Edit Magic has a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to capture video footage onto the editing time line and assemble a movie in mere minutes. Then add professional scene transitions, some background music, a couple of title effects, and get ready to show the world your finished masterpiece. You even can edit and combine popular file formats including AVI, WMV, ASF, MPEG, JPEG, all on the same time line. Video Edit Magic supports making movies in MPEG Formats. This is the required format for creating VCD, SVCD, and DVDs. You also can create QuickTime and Digital Video AVI output formats. Movie can be made in both, NTSC as well as PAL standard.
Version 4.07 has a new Compatibility Tab feature. This allows you to disable certain incompatible filters while working with Video Edit Magic, without affecting other applications that might require the disabled filters.

Version: Video Edit Magic 4.07
Pros: Depending of what you want to do, It can be very good. Didnt try all the options.
At least, very professionnal interface and very pro.
Cons: If you want to Capture video from a VHS or DVD player trough a TV tuner card into a AVI file, mp3-192 kpbs and divx codec, an error happen and you just cannot do it. No option to stop the audio bug of mono-sterio effect, so you can have a huge echo for each sound.
But you can record uncompressed perfect quality about 300 mb per minute.
