From BillP Studios:WinPatrol will sniff out worms, adware, keyloggers, spyware, cookies, and Trojan horses. This program puts you back in control of your computer with no need for constant updates. WinPatrol's goal is to help you better understand what programs are running on your computer and to alert you to any new programs added without your permission. Unlike traditional security programs, WinPatrol doesn't scan your hard drive searching for previously identified threats. Instead using a heuristic approach, a snapshot is taken of your critical system resources, and WinPatrol alerts you to any changes that occur without your knowledge.
Version 9.0.0.2 changes artwork, and users can now specify which browser type they're using on the cookies screen.

Pros: I can't give a better review than Download.Com gave,so I'll just say,"THIS PROGRAM ROCKS! It has too many features for me to list. I recommend Win Patrol Highly, and give it 5 Stars and TWO thumbs UP!

Pros: ? Easy to use interface allows you to choose which programs to keep and which to excise from your PC.
? Detects malicious code and parasites that may assault your computer.
? Detects & Neutralizes ADware.
? Rids your computer of pesky Viral infections.
? Provides the user with a range of scalable tools to prevent the hijacking of their computer.
? Kills Multiple Tasks that replicate each other, in a single step!
Cons: ? Not meant for the avid installer.

"As good as having a watchdog in the garden"
Pros: * Well designed
* Targets key areas
* Very intuitive to use
* Install. Setup. Forget.
Cons: * Updates are not automatic. The user must therefore make a note to check for updates.

"An invaluable resource and tool"
Pros: Neat and friendly interface. Brisk - I can't even tell it's running. Alerts and allows one to disable startup buttons when they happen. BEST FEATURE: with registration, opens up a huge amount of information on all processes you've got turnning available, as well as information on mysterious file extensions. So register it and pay this guy for his hard work!
Cons: None, really. Can be used for free if you don't want to unlock the tome of knowledge on mysterious processes. I've shopped around and this is one of the best designed utilities I've come across.
