From Apple:Chat with other online users in a full-screen personal video conference environment over any broadband connection. iChat AV uses patented anamorphic resizing techniques so that the video of the person you're chatting with fills the entire screen without distortion. iChat AV also lets you size your video window to whatever size suits your style- from the large default of 352x288 pixels to full-screen mode. You can even resize a window during the middle of a conference. iChat AV v2.1 adds support for video conferencing with the AOL Instant Messenger 5.5 for Microsoft Windows
When you install iChat AV, the software automatically configures and optimizes itself for your setup. There is no hassle over network setup or peripherals. While iChat AV works best with iSight, you can use any FireWire DV camera or Webcam for video chat.
